Greater Binghamton Prays is a coalition of churches, clergy and
concerned individuals from various denominational backgrounds who pray
for the Greater Binghamton region and the Southern Tier of New York's
churches, leaders and the collective wellbeing of our residents.
The group (formerly called “The Thursday Morning
Revival Prayer Meeting”) is celebrating 17 years of existence. From
1989, when three men committed to meet regularly on Thursday mornings
for prayer, asking God for renewal and awakening in this region, the
prayer meeting has grown to as many as 60 people from over 30 churches.
Plans are presently being made to connect in meaningful ways with
marketplace, government, education and non-profit leaders to further
this effort.
The GBP Mission:
To petition God to revive and empower His church in Greater Binghamton
and the Southern Tier for the glory of Christ.
